This year, Tampa Tank, Inc. celebrated its 50th anniversary. By satisfying our customers, Tampa Tank continues to grow. After acquiring Tampa Tank in 1976, the present ownership has implemented successful development plans resulting in consistent sales and revenue growth. That growth has allowed Tampa Tank to attract more and more challenging projects yet maintain the same level of customer satisfaction.

In the late 1970's, Tampa Tank purchased General Engineering Corporation. This addition gave us the ability to provide integrated field erection expertise for all our projects. Today we recognize this acquisition as a key element for our goal of delivering complete turnkey services for our customers.

In the early 1980's, Tampa Tank purchased the miscellaneous and structural steel division of Florida Steel. This subsidiary is now known as Florida Structural Steel. Florida Structural Steel serves the commercial and industrial market by furnishing and installing many types of structural steel.
